As the region’s academic health system, our clinicians and teams have come together like never seen before to provide world-class care in the face of immense challenges.
We’ve seen our researchers work tirelessly to find a safe and effective vaccine for COVID-19. Our frontline workers have made sacrifices for the good of our patients, including working long hours or taking on new responsibilities. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought out the best in our leaders and staff.
And we truly appreciate our community leaders and government and elected officials for their continued support of UC Health, which makes an indelible impact on our health system.
Every day, I am inspired by the work of our frontline healthcare heroes. In our 2020 In Retrospect: UC Health’s Annual Report, you will see many examples of their dedication, along with some of our milestone achievements and inspiring patient stories.
As we look ahead, we will continue to invest in our people, facilities, services and community, including through our Clifton Campus Revitalization.
And we will renew our dedication and commitment to providing an inclusive environment that supports the diversity of our employees, physicians, patients, visitors, suppliers and community.
This past year has been difficult for so many, but I remain hopeful every day about our future. We will move out of the pandemic and live into our purpose to advance healing and reduce suffering in Greater Cincinnati.
