In October 2019, we announced our $221 million dollar investment to revitalize our Clifton Campus, the largest capital project in the history of UC Health.
The focal point of our Clifton Campus Revitalization is our new Emergency Department tower and new surgical building. As the region’s only Level I adult trauma center, we have a responsibility to be fully and easily prepared to care for all patients. The new tower will include an expanded Emergency Department, an Observation Unit and a new Flex Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The new surgical building will include eight new operating rooms, new surgery waiting and pre-operation clinics, and renovation and expansion of sterile processing.
Despite the challenges of COVID-19, our multidisciplinary teams have been working behind-the-scenes to move our Clifton Campus Revitalization forward and help develop high-quality facilities that reflect the world-class care provided within our walls.
This summer, we will launch a $20 million capital fundraising campaign to support this critical work. Learn more about ways to support this campaign.
