Since 1980—long before the field was recognized as an independent specialty—the interventional radiologists at UC Health were pioneering a new approach to treating conditions without traditional surgery. Today, our providers continue to help patients and improve the field. By making small incisions, we’re able to move tiny catheters and tools through your body to correct issues causing health problems. This minimally invasive approach results in less pain, reduced risk and a faster recovery.
