Favorite part of the job: My favorite part of the job is acting as a key member of an interdisciplinary team in order to ensure my patients get the best care possible. I also love learning something new from our fantastic group of preceptors every day!

Hobbies: My favorite hobby is reading; I am a huge fan of science-fiction and fantasy novels, though I read books from most genres. I also love playing tennis, hiking, swimming, listening to music, going to concerts, and cooking (especially Italian food!).

Favorite Part of the Job: A few of my favorite parts of being a pharmacist, specifically in the ambulatory care setting, are the high degree of patient interaction, clinical independence, and vast opportunity to expand services and the profession as a whole. The most rewarding part of the job, however, is building relationships with my patients and getting to know each of them on a more personal basis in my efforts to optimize medication therapy and overall care.

I feel that traveling allows me to develop strong relationships with our diverse patient population. Favorite Part of the Job: My favorite part of the job is being able to play an integral role within the multidisciplinary teams to assist in managing patient therapies and optimizing patient care. I love to learn from those around me as well as teaching both colleagues and future healthcare providers. The level of autonomy that pharmacists have gained in our ever-changing practice is extremely rewarding and allows me to fully utilize my clinical skills and knowledge.

Hobbies: Traveling, hiking, camping, snowboarding, kayaking, wakeboarding, golfing, yoga, going to OSU football games, listening to music (country and acoustic indie are my favorite), relaxing in my hammock, and just about any other outdoor activity.

Favorite part of the job: My favorite part about being a Pharmacy Resident at West Chester Hospital is the variety of learning opportunities and patient encounters experienced on a daily basis. I love being relied on by the pharmacy department to make an impact on patient care. I love the opportunity to collaborate with the friendly pharmacy department along with the physicians at the hospital.

Hobbies: In my spare time I love to play just about any sport, I am also a die-hard Cleveland sports fan. Currently I am watching Game of Thrones and it is quickly becoming one of my favorite shows.

Education: I completed both my undergrad education and pharmacy school at the University of Cincinnati.

Future Career Path/Area of Interest: I aspire to obtain a clinical pharmacist position in the future, my main areas of interest are infectious diseases and critical care.
