You don’t need a physician referral to see a specialist at the UC Health Vein Center. You can schedule an appointment with a vein specialist—there’s no long wait for appointments.
How do you know when to get help for a vein problem? We’re happy to see you at any point in your journey. If your legs have any of these symptoms, please schedule an appointment for a consultation:
- Painful
- Swollen
- Tender
- Itchy
- Bulging
- Have wounds that don’t heal
- Unsightly
If your vein problem is simply cosmetic—you don’t like how they make your legs appear—that’s still a valid reason for consulting a vein specialist. Treatment of spider veins (small surface veins), is one of our specialties. Our expert staff has over 50 combined years of experience in sclerotherapy, a minimally-invasive procedure used to eliminate these unsightly veins.
You don’t have to live with discomfort or unsightly veins. Generally, vein problems don’t go away without help. They often get worse. Our patients remark that they feel great relief after treatment. Many of our patients have been treated elsewhere, unsuccessfully, and have felt like nothing more can be done. We give them hope and solutions. We encourage you to see us to explore your options.
Our Own Vascular Lab
Lab work is an important part of evaluating vein problems and we provide expert ultrasound examination by Registered Vascular Technicians. The UC Health Vein Center has an on-site Vascular Laboratory managed by registered vascular technicians. It’s accredited by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission, which means every aspect of operation and patient care meets high standards, so patients can count on for the highest level of care and quality in vascular testing.
You don’t need to go to another location to have tests to help us diagnose your problem.
