Scheduling routine & urgent visits
Both routine and urgent appointments should be scheduled during regular office hours. We will do our best to accommodate your scheduling preferences. However, it’s a good idea to plan ahead when scheduling physicals and regular check-ups. We are more likely to have the appointment time of your preference if it is made with plenty of advance notice. If you are late 15 minutes or more you may be asked to reschedule. We make every effort possible to accommodate urgent needs, allowing patients to be seen within 24 to 48 hours, depending on the urgency of the situation. If your regular physician is not available, you can rest assured that arrangements will be made to meet your specific needs and that you will receive the care that your condition requires.
When you arrive
At UC Health Primary Care, we value your time. For this reason, we ask that you arrive at least 10 minutes before your appointment time to complete paperwork or update your records. We will ask to see your insurance card at each visit, and any copayments must be paid upon arrival. If you are taking any medications, please bring a complete list with you, along with dosage instructions. To be sure all your concerns are addressed during your visit, you may also want to bring a list of questions to ask the doctor.
Cancellations
Please make every effort possible to keep your scheduled appointments. Should you need to cancel an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours advance notice. This helps us better accommodate patients with urgent needs. Patients that miss three or more scheduled appointments without notifying our office may be dismissed from the practice.
