The purpose of this study is to see if a drug called seltorexant (JNJ-42847922) added to current antidepressant treatment would help to improve depression and sleep problems (such as difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, waking up too early or otherwise poor-quality sleep). The effects of seltorexant will be compared to the effects of placebo (pill without a medicine in it).
