Commission on Cancer (CoC)-Accredited Cancer Program
In 2022, the University of Cincinnati Cancer Center received full three-year accreditation from the American College of Surgeon’s Commission on Cancer (CoC). The UC Cancer Center is one of the commission’s five oldest cancer programs. To earn voluntary CoC accreditation, a cancer program must meet 34 CoC quality care standards, be evaluated every three years through a survey process, and maintain levels of excellence in the delivery of comprehensive patient-centered care.
Becker's Hospital Review
University of Cincinnati Cancer Center has been named alongside 59 programs as one of 60 hospitals and health systems in the U.S. with great oncology programs headed into 2023, according to Becker’s Hospital Review, for developing leading-edge, novel therapies and research that have improved outcomes and access to care for cancer patients.
Top 1% in the Nation
Forty-three UC Health physicians and advanced practice providers have been ranked in the top 1% of clinicians in the nation with the best patient experience and satisfaction scores for fiscal year 2022 (July 2021 through June 2022).
