Does UC Health Integrative Health accept insurance?
Yes, physician consultations and follow-up visits, as well as some other services provided by our Licensed Acupuncturists (L.Ac.) and our Psychologist are covered under many plans. What are the accepted forms of payment?
Cash, Check and Credit Card are accepted for payment. In addition to this, we do accept payment through health savings and flexible spending accounts, but recommend that you contact the plan administrator for specific coverage information. *Please note: Exact change is required for cash transactions.*
Are there limits to the number of visits that insurance covers?

Do I need a referral to be seen in Integrative Health?
Referrals may be required by some insurance plans, and are only required by the practice for Physician Consults. For other services, such as Acupuncture, Behavior Health and Licensed Massage Therapy, we welcome self-referred patients. Do I file secondary insurance for patients?
Yes, secondary insurance plans will be billed according to coordination of benefits with primary insurer. Please note: Secondary insurers will not pay for services denied by primary insurer. Also, in order for services to be billed to insurance company, they must be participating with the licensed professional that provided services. What happens if my insurance denies payment?
Any claim that is denied by insurance provider will be reviewed by billing staff. Depending on what is found upon review, financial responsibility may be assumed by patient.
