A diagnosis of cancer can be stressful, disruptive, and anxiety producing. While managing stress does not cure cancer, it can help you in your healing process both mentally, physically, and spiritually. Being mindful means to focus on the present moment, while acknowledging and accepting one’s feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations without judgement. During this 60-minute class with our Integrative Health Psychologist, Dr Barbara Walker, you will engage in a group therapeutic and skills-building experience that will help reduce your stress, live more mindfully, and promote optimal healing.
