UC Virtual MBSR Summer 2020 Course Information

 

The UC Center for Integrative Health and Wellness is excited to once again offer Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn’s Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction as an online course this Summer. The 8-week course will begin Tuesday, July 7 at 6 PM, and meet weekly for 8 weeks via Webex. The virtual Immersion Retreat will take place on Saturday, August 15, 9 AM – noon.

 

This is an 8-week, evidence-based, group stress-reduction program, backed by over 30 years of research.  The course teaches mindfulness practices (e.g. breath meditation, body scan meditation, yoga), and offers group connection aimed at enhancing self-awareness and self-care. The program is facilitated by a trained and certified MBSR instructor.
