Harnessing Inter-disciplinary Teams To Advance Care
The Center for Pulmonary Hypertension is one of several nationally designated Pulmonary Hypertension Association Care Centers and the only one in Ohio. We have a long-standing commitment to understanding the mechanisms of disease and to clinical research designed to advance the standards of care for our patients.
Patients with pulmonary hypertension have high blood pressure in the pulmonary arteries in the lungs. This forces the heart to work harder to pump blood through the lungs. Over time, the heart can weaken or fail completely. Our clinical providers offer state-of-the-science treatment for these uncommon, complex conditions.
