This class, taught by an IBCLC, international board certified lactation consultant, will provide parents with information and skills that will guide them through breastfeeding. Topics include what to expect after delivery, physiology of breastfeeding, building a milk supply, position and latch, newborn feeding cues and patterns, milk expression and pumping, returning to work, self-care, and support tips for your partner. Birth partners are welcomed and encouraged to attend with you.
