- 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, followed by a reception until 6:00 pm
EVENT DESCRIPTION:
- The program will take a deeper look and foster interactive conversation on UC Health’s Learning Health System and how it is driving discovery, integrating research and building a cycle of continuous learning focused on improved outcomes for those living with traumatic brain injury (TBI). This unique symposium will target three core audiences:
- Patients and their caregivers, families and personal networks.
- Healthcare providers including physicians, nurses, trainees and allied health service professionals.
- Organizational representatives from industry partners and employers of those with brain injuries.
- The program will feature expert presenters, panel discussions, working group sessions and a health innovation resource fair. Attendee objectives include:
- Gain a deeper understanding of the current TBI system from all perspectives and increased empathy for all involved in TBI care.
- Review what is known about TBI care and what we need to learn more about.
- Begin to identify gaps in TBI care.
- Understand outcome measurements and UC Health’s current improvement initiatives.
- Learn about community resources available to guide families through the TBI journey.
PARKING INFO:
- There are limited parking spots at UCGNI that can be reserved for patients/families and exhibitors only. Other attendees can park at any UC Health garage and receive a voucher to cover the cost.
