Free seminars focus on diabetes management in a relaxed and comfortable environment. Accompanying the West Chester Hospital diabetes nurse educator, are a registered dietitian, a clinical pharmacist, and other diabetes experts. A variety of diabetes-related topics are presented, including an overview of diabetes and how it affects the body, meal planning and counting carbohydrates, knowing your medications and the importance of exercise.
