Research shows that mindfulness meditation, a form of meditation designed to develop the skill of paying attention to our inner and outer experiences with acceptance, patience and compassion, can help reduce anxiety, stress, blood pressure, chronic pain and insomnia, as well as help a person regain a sense of control.
This program features an integrative medicine professional who will provide an introduction to the concept of mindfulness, including its definition, methods of practice, and guidance through several techniques.
