Kristina Lemon, MD

Kristina Lemon, MD, joined UC Health Transplant after completing two fellowships at The Ottawa Hospital (hepatobiliary surgery) and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (multi-organ transplant surgery).

Early in her residency, Dr. Lemon worked with a surgical oncologist who later became her mentor. She found interest in understanding how and when to resect the liver or pancreas to remove cancer. This interest later expanded into transplant and transplant oncology for transplant patients with organ cancers.

Prior to medicine, she was inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame for records she set as a softball pitcher at both her undergraduate and medical school institutions.
