Lauren Hunter is a Certified Nurse Practitioner who specializes in urinary incontinence, voiding dysfunction, neurogenic bladder, vaginal prolapse and genitourinary reconstruction.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wright State University and has extensive nursing experience in various disciplines including obstetrics and gynecology. She then earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Loyola University of Chicago. Mrs. Hunter completed a rigorous post-masters mentorship, through the University of Cincinnati, that specialized in voiding dysfunction, female urology, and urodynamics.
She is passionate about voiding dysfunction, reconstructive urology, and optimizing patients' quality of life. Mrs. Hunter partners closely with Dr. Ayman Mahdy to assure superb and timely patient care. She works jointly with Dr. Mahdy to facilitate their patients' early access to office visits, proper evaluation, post-operative care and to address any patients' concerns or questions. She is involved in the entire continuum of care of Dr. Mahdys patients in the office, urodynamics lab, and the hospital setting.
Mrs. Hunter is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Urological Association; the American Association of Nurse Practitioners; and the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates. She is nationally certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
