Region’s First Critical Life Support Helicopter
We are the first health system-affiliated air transport program in Greater Cincinnati to provide emergency transport of critically ill adult patients who are receiving ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) treatment.

Air Care & Mobile Care has provided the Greater Cincinnati area with specialized transport medicine services for patients in our community for more than 35 years. We are the first and only comprehensive adult ECMO ground and air transport service in the region. Our critical care life support helicopter is able to transport patients within a 200-mile radius from University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Now, with the debut of ECMO transport by helicopter, UC Health is continuing its tradition of leading the region in innovative, specialized transport medicine only available from UC Health.
