This achievement supports UC Health’s commitment to offering a supportive, meaningful and rewarding workplace environment for all employees.
This is the ninth year—and seventh consecutive—that West Chester Hospital has been featured on the list. It was also included in 2010, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.
The recognition is based upon the results of an employee feedback survey administered by Energage; a third-party research firm that specializes in workplace health and organizational improvement. The firm uses the responses to measure several aspects of workplace culture to determine its rankings.
“Cultivating a strong workplace culture is among the most important things that we do, because we know that compassionate, patient-centered healthcare begins with employees who believe in their workplace environment and possess a strong commitment to carrying out our mission to advance healing and reduce suffering,” Tom Daskalakis, chief administrative officer for West Chester Hospital said. “We are especially grateful and proud that our employees continue to acknowledge that our hospital is a great place to work.”
West Chester Hospital has also been named among the Best Workplaces in the state by Ohio Business Magazine for six consecutive years, (2017-2022). The magazine accepts nominations from an organization’s own employees, as well as from local community residents to determine its honorees.
