Haiku and Canto for UC Health clinicians.

Epic’s mobile apps keep you connected with your patients, your practice and your clinical colleagues—wherever you are—24/7.

Haiku is Epic’s mobile app for the iPhone® and Android®. Canto is the mobile app for the iPad®. These two apps give UC Health clinicians secure and portable access to:

  • Patient charts
  • Schedules
  • Secure text messaging to colleagues

Whether you are at work, at home or any location with an internet connection, accessing your patients’ information is easy and convenient.

These mobile device applications are only available to the following parties who have clinical privileges at UC Health and who are qualified by UC Health policy to access Epic information.

  • Physicians (attending, fellows, residents)
  • Advanced practice providers
  • Clinical pharmacists
  • Pharmacy technicians

Installation & Configuration

There are three steps to add and use Haiku and Canto on your iPhone, iPad or Android device.

Tip: Connecting to a Wi-Fi network before taking these steps will help expedite the process.

Step 1. Install Haiku or Canto. Download and install one of these apps to your smart phone or tablet by clicking on the appropriate black button below.

Step 2. Once you’ve download Haiku or Canto, click the appropriate hyperlink below (from your device). Then, you will be prompted to enter your access password*.  
Links below will only work if you access them from your mobile device or tablet that has the app. Links will not work on a computer.

Step 3: Once you’ve configured your device, open your Haiku or Canto app and log in using your UC Health credentials.
