Families, Clinicians Reunite at Center for Reproductive Health Annual Holiday Celebration

The Carrier family was among those who attended the UC Health Center for Reproductive Health annual holiday celebration for patients and families on Dec. 3.

For many people, the holiday season is a time to celebrate friends and family.

On Monday, the UC Health Center for Reproductive Health hosted hundreds of very special guests—the families who have been able to successfully conceive children thanks to the dedicated clinicians and staff of UC Health.

More than 250 parents, infants, toddlers, tweens, teens and young adults attended this special event at West Chester Hospital the evening of Dec. 3. The annual celebration is hosted by the clinicians and staff of the UC Health Center for Reproductive Health, including medical director and founder Michael Thomas, MD, reproductive and endocrinology physician.

Families come each year to reconnect and mingle with the physicians and staff who helped them along the journey to conception. Many of the children excitedly arrive with their families wearing their best holiday outfits, while enjoying refreshments, fun games and activities, including face painting and balloon sculpting. The University of Cincinnati cheerleading squad and the UC Bearcat attend as well to spend time with the children.

This year, they included the Carrier family of Dayton, Ky., whose twin daughters Justine and Jaidene were conceived with the help of Dr. Thomas and his team. The girls celebrated their fourth birthday on Dec. 4.
