For women, growing older is a time of change, which could mean new health-related issues. The more you learn about them, the better prepared you will be to maintain your health with age. At UC Health Women’s Center our Geriatric Specialists can help by providing you with the right care, assessment and guidance you need in order to be as healthy as possible for as long as possible.
Consultations consist of a review of your concerns related to aging such as use of multiple medications, frequent falls or history of falls, urinary incontinence, osteoporosis, frailty and strength.
During our initial assessment, we spend our time with you providing an in-depth, comprehensive assessment. Those who appear to be on a rapid downward trajectory toward nursing home placement will benefit. If you are concerned with any of the following please give us a call:
- Falls and Difficulties with Walking
- Memory Problems
- Alzheimer’s Disease and Other Dementias
- Depression, Anxiety, Change in Mood or Behavior
- Weight Loss
- Failure to Thrive and Nutritional Issues
- Urinary Incontinence, Constipation
