The West Chester Hospital Laboratory Services offers technologically advanced facilities and equipment including Ortho Vitros® for chemistry analysis and Coulter LH780 for performing hematology evaluations. The Emergency Department patients and inpatients benefit from a turnaround time far quicker than the national average. Using state-of-the-art equipment interfaced through three separate computer systems, the professionals in the laboratory focus on providing quality testing services. The laboratory is staffed with laboratory support techs who collect and process specimens, and by medical laboratory scientists who have degrees in laboratory medicine from accredited university programs.
