Most high-risk cases result in the birth of healthy baby, but it’s good to know that University of Cincinnati Medical Center has the specialized care you need. As a Level III care center, we are fully equipped to diagnose and manage any level of risk in a pregnancy. Our completely renovated High-Risk OB unit features state-of-the-art rooms with a casual feel and comfortable environment for you and your family.
Care Only A Level III Center Can Provide
- Our team is comprised of OB/GYN’s, resident physicians, specialized nurses, and a multidisciplinary team of support specialists.
- State-of-the-technology allows us to treat and manage the most complicated pregnancies. We utilize the latest in ultrasound equipment and fetal monitoring services. We have specially equipped operating rooms designated for complex and emergency procedures.
- If a premature birth occurs, our world-renowned neonatologists are on-site and able to provide immediate care for our preemies. Our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is staffed with a fully integrated team of specialists. We utilize state-of-the art technology to provide complete specialized care for the most critical babies.
