Maintenance Treatment Study Testing An Investigational Medication In Patients With Bipolar I Disorder

The purpose of this research study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational drug in individuals with bipolar I disorder.

Criteria:

Those Eligible To Participate Are Adults 18 To 65 Years Old Who Have Been Diagnosed With Bipolar I Disorder And: Have Needed Treatment Within The Past 3 Years; Have Experienced A Mood Episode Within The Last 4 Months; Are Taking Lamotrigine(Lamictal)
