Our Approach to Treatment
Our entire continuum of care is based on an interdisciplinary team philosophy. This means you’re assigned a staff of experts assembled to meet your unique goals and diagnosis. As important members of this team, you and your family will be actively involved in making decisions about your care.
Each week your team meets to discuss adjustments to your plan of care and propose next steps to help you meet your goals. While you and your family will not attend these meetings, your case manager will be there to represent you.
What You May Be Feeling
Every patient has a different reason for coming to Daniel Drake Center for Post-Acute Care and different expectations about their recovery. But all patients share common experiences- stress about their stay, physical discomfort, progress, possible limitations, and dependence on others.
What to Bring
Patients at Daniel Drake Center are encouraged to wear their own clothes when possible. Patients involved in rehabilitation find loose-fitting clothing to be helpful, especially for floor and mat activities.
Resolving Concerns About Your Care
If you have a complaint or concern about your care, please let us know as soon as possible. Our staff should always listen, respond and conduct themselves respectfully, in keeping with our values.
